Big Part Of BD Is Corresponding
One of the most important parts of business development is having impeccable correspondence.
I think that being on top of your schedule and correspondence is what takes a good BD guy/girl to the next level.
Making sure you keep partners updated, following up with new people you meet, and being on top of your schedule is key.
Researching, analysis, networking, pitching, closing, and managing are all important but, to me, being super on top of your shit is the most important.
Agreed, if you aren’t all over it then you shouldn’t be surprised when the deal falls apart.
